In Kongsberg we have one of Norway’s longest and most beautiful 18-hole courses from yellow tee with 6019 meters. A combined open park and forest course with several strategic water obstacles and large, partly undulating greens, with a par 72. The course was designed by Jeremy Turner, one of the most renowned golf course architects in the Nordic countries.
There are over 70 sand bunkers spread over the 18 holes. The location is in beautiful nature at an altitude of 65 to 100 m above sea level with a view of the river and the Skrim mountains. The course is easy to walk with moderate inclines, short distance between the holes and benches at all tee places.
In the pro shop it is possible to rent golf equipment, trolleys and golf carts. There are automatic irrigation systems on all fairways, greens and tees. The first 9 holes of the 18-hole course were opened in 1998 and the course was put into operation as a full-fledged 18-hole course in the summer of 2000.
